I'm looking for volunteers to run a Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 campaign in the game center. The games need to be open to new players. We'll form groups of between four and six players (your choice). The game needs to be run at regular intervals, such as once a week or twice a month. The game should use rules and supplements from Wizards of the Coast, so that players get experience with "official" rules. Which rules and supplements are at the discretion of the game master, as is the level and character requirements for the game.
Since volunteers are extremely scarce, we're going to create an incentive and a structure. Each player donates $5/session to play. That money goes into a gift certificate for the game master to purchase new materials for the game (RPG materials, miniatures, and dice only). We can do this because there is way more demand by players than volunteers to run the game. You've gotta pay to play in such a case.
I would but its d&d... WFRP, perhaps.
ReplyDeleteWe could do the same with WFRP. I want to do D&D because we've got a lot of new people who have gotten D&D for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteDICE??? Good thing Kate doesn't read your blog.
