I carry all the big Decipher games like Star Wars, Star Trek and LOTR and many other 'dead' games. I eventually will be adding Battletech.CategoryOneGames.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150649422744296369.post-90956294807089051232014-08-26T06:59:15.858-07:002014-08-26T06:59:15.858-07:00It's pretty much the same thing. Most of the pre-ordered items are requested long beforehand via some form of informal communication.blackdiamond925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150649422744296369.post-36758367895519231932014-08-25T22:19:27.399-07:002014-08-25T22:19:27.399-07:00Do you possibly mean on the invoice rather than th...Do you possibly mean on the invoice rather than the purchase order then?Arquinsielnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150649422744296369.post-44758045022308063142014-08-25T21:37:00.197-07:002014-08-25T21:37:00.197-07:00I pre order almost everything, so there's usua...I pre order almost everything, so there's usually a percentage of stuff on an order that I didn't necessarily expect to show up that day. Sometimes it's the entire order or majority of an order.

When I ran a smaller business, this stuff was really disruptive to my cash flow, especially when I also back-ordered product.blackdiamond925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150649422744296369.post-46225803239437692172014-08-23T05:09:40.129-07:002014-08-23T05:09:40.129-07:00As always Gary, very informative. As always Gary, very informative.Steel_Windnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150649422744296369.post-28436333575694040282014-08-22T23:16:11.515-07:002014-08-22T23:16:11.515-07:00Netrunner is basically the LCG that just about eve...Netrunner is basically the LCG that just about every store carries and can get events for while the rest are so hit and miss. I've been trying to find A Game of Thrones events in Utah and can't find anything, I've been wanting to learn it since reading the books recently and you would think with the TV show it would gain traction.

With LCG versions of Doomtown, Dragon Ball Z and VS System showing up at GenCon, I'm curious to see if they can get older players into these new versions. DBZ and Doomtown have already seen prices and interest jump on the older CCG versions.CategoryOneGames.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150649422744296369.post-45764275586194466422014-08-22T23:10:12.160-07:002014-08-22T23:10:12.160-07:00It's always interesting when that happens. Weiss Shwarz and Buddyfight have found interested customers lately, and they slot in well with our existing Vanguard crowd. The LCG's are gaining traction as well, especially Netrunner.blackdiamond925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150649422744296369.post-71411691480420969612014-08-22T23:00:42.042-07:002014-08-22T23:00:42.042-07:00"Collectible card games? There has been some success with anime games of late, but I'll generally get left holding the bag in the end. CCGs are the only product that will ever get tossed in the trash. Nobody wants a dead CCG. Nobody. Customers need to drive these requests, and I'm much happier taking a chance with a pre-order of a booster box or two of the game in question."

So a store in Utah has been doing WWE Raw Deal recently and have gotten a following for it, they have been buying packs/boxes/starters and then purchasing singles from me to supply to their new player base. It takes effort but a game can be resurrected at a store if you have a few former players for it and the store is willing. It's been a lot of fun seeing this game come back and getting to play a game I love.CategoryOneGames.comnoreply@blogger.com
