Battlefoam Coming Soon

I just placed a fairly big order for the Battlefoam system for miniature storage. We're getting all their cases and basic foam trays. Custom army foam trays will be along shortly thereafter. This stuff should arrive in June and I think they're far superior to what's out there now. They get my vote for best new gaming company, if there was such an award. If you're a minis fan, check out their website and let me know what you think. The stuff is fairly expensive, about 50% more than Sabol, but it's far more efficient, since trays are pre-cut. Supply will be limited, so getting a gauge on the initial order is important. Of course, by pre-ordering at the store, you can guarantee what you want.

  1. So, when you say you are getting custom army trays, do you mean that you'll be able to order custom cut trays through the store, or that you're going to carry some of their pre-cut special purpose trays?

Either way, I think it's a good move. I have yet to see their products in person, but have been giving serious consideration to going with them after they get the bags back in stock. Everything I've heard about them is positive (aside from the price, which is apparently simply a "you get what you pay for" situation).

The fact that they're designed to handle air travel is reason enough

  2. Step one is to get their bulk "pluck" trays. The trays that come in cases are already cut.

Step two, which will come a little bit later (we've already discussed this with the distributor), would be for specific army trays. So you could buy a Space Marines set of trays, for example. I've got those on order, but without a release date.

We probably won't be able to do custom trays.
