Board Game Mini Convention (Game Day)

What was billed as a board game mini-convention this weekend turned out to be more of a general game day. A group of six played in a Magic tournament while we had eight people in our Battlelore tournament. Others played various board games, including Elvish Checkers, taught to our group by Three Sages Games and various games presented by Tablestar.

The miniature tables were packed most of the day with Warmachine, Warhammer 40K, Warhammer Fantasy and various collectible miniature games. Our Star Wars Force Unleashed tournament is currently underway. Turn-out has been slow this week for all events, as people begin thinking about the holidays, so it worked out well that we combined activities in one day.
